SHort term legacy: Henry Ford
Ford revolutionized industries for generations. Selling over 15 million Model T's from 1908 to 1927, so that transportation for several men and women became hours upon hours quicker, and that the states of America became more united. Ford gave his employees 5 dollar wages. His employees worked 8 hour work days producing 10-12 cars a day. For the Model T it was required to have 84 steps, there for Ford taught each worker 1 step. Due to the assembly line the car was moved station to station producing an increase on productivity. The model T was also affordable to most families. The cost for a Model T was $925 dollars($21,650 in todays money). The price for the Model T dropped each year giving families more chances to buy a car.
